Rodgers was born in Butogota village and has a diploma in Marketing. In 2002 he joined Sanctuary Gorilla Forest camp as a driver and then decided to pursue a career as a guide and attended a training course held Sanctuary Olonana in Kenya. Since then he has completed numerous other guide training courses.
In charge of organising all camp operations liaising with all assistant and departmental heads on a daily basis, providing exclusive client experience with a customised touch.
Samuel worked as an accounts clerk for a takeaway catering company before moving to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp just over eight years ago. Samuel now acquires and records all of the supplies ordered for the camp. He is also involved part-time in educating people about the harm of plastic bags. One of the things he loves the most about his job is exchanging views with people from different cultures.
Precious joined the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp team in 2011 as a Waitress and Masseuse. She had worked in a few other tourism facilities but admits working with the team at Gorilla Forest Camp is like a dream come true. She loves meeting people from different backgrounds and says she is inspired to be better at what she does every day!
