Transfers

The lodge is accessible by air from Windhoek and the airstrip is located 30-45 minutes away from the lodge. 

Please note the luggage restriction for all flights is 20kg per person in a soft-sided bag.  

The camp is accessible by air:

• Windhoek to airstrip - 2 hours 30 minutes (with refuel stop)

Road transfer times:

• Driving from Windhoek to Okahirongo Elephant Lodge takes approximately 12 hours

Flying Package

A flying package is available for guests wanting to visit Okahirongo Elephant Lodge and Okahirongo River Camp. The flying package includes:

• Private air transfer from Windhoek to Okahirongo Elephant Lodge
• 2 nights at Okahirongo Elephant Lodge
• Private air transfer from Okahirongo Elephant Lodge to Okahirongo River Camp
• 2 nights at Okahirongo River Camp
• Private air transfer from Okahirongo River Camp to Windhoek

Please note, the camps can be visited in any order. 

The flying package is available to a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 8. Guests will have the same aircraft and pilot with them throughout the trip.
