In Luxor the dock is on Awameya Street, next to Sheraton Luxor Resort. In Aswan the dock is at the new corniche beside the Aswan New Bridge. To reach the docks, we recommend flying from Cairo to either destination. The flying time from Cairo to Luxor is 1 hour, and from Cairo to Aswan it is 1 hour 30 minutes. Driving to and from Luxor or Aswan is not usually recommended as it would require a police escort and the driving time is both long and tiring - approximately 12 hours from Cairo to Luxor, and 15 hours from Cairo to Aswan.
