Collie Setswamokwena
Lodge Manager
Born in the south of Botswana, close to Gaborone, Collie decided to join the tourism industry in November 1995 before she worked and studied at Disney World, Florida. When she returned home, she freelanced as Lodge Manager at various companies until she started her first contract with Sanctuary Retreats in 2010. She has worked at Chobe Chilwero, Stanley's and Baines' Camps.
Martin Kushatha Mathumo
General Manager
Martin was born in Francistown, Botswana and was the last born in a family of 7 from Siviya village in North East Botswana. He attended secondary and college education in Zimbabwe where he received a Diploma in Public Relations. After a varied career which included roles such as an Assistant Welder and a Community Relations and Liaison Officer, Martin discovered a passion for safaris. He has worked as a Nature Guide, Lodge Manager & General Manager at various different lodges and camps across Botswana before becoming General Manager at Sanctuary Stanley's Camp. He is a professional Nature Guide, and is a Botswana Qualifications Authority accredited trainer of Nature Guides and Lodge Managers.
