Perched on a sand bank in an untouched and beautiful area of the South Luangwa, Sanctuary Zebra Plains is the perfect location for a walking safari camp. The only camp of its kind in the area, Sanctuary Zebra Plains is located at the confluence of the Luangwa and Chibembe Rivers. The nearby Changwa Channel is believed to have the highest concentration of hippo in Africa, and is home to four endemic species as well as zebra, elephant, buffalo, crocodile and puku, and over 400 bird species. With only four tents, the small and intimate luxury camp accommodates a maximum of six guests.
