Organic Garden

One of the simplest forms of conservation is to grow your own organic vegetables – limiting damage to the environment from chemicals used in more commercial produce farming.

Our simple yet effective Sanctuary Retreats Philanthropy project continues to grow - literally!

At Sanctuary Olonana, the camp grows over 75% of the vegetables served at lunch and dinner. Our organic garden grows a variety of organic fruits, vegetables and herbs including sweet potato, aubergine, spinach, strawberries, lemons, basil and rosemary. Guests can help pick their selection for dinner, and get recipes from the kitchen of the meals they have tried.
