December 2011

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have announced they are launching a new service to Lusaka in Zambia. The new route will start operating from 15 May 2012. Flight KL561 will leave from Schiphol International Airport, Amsterdam on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:30 arriving into Lusaka the same day.

KLM's new route gives guests travelling from Europe even more choice and flexibility in flights for their Zambia safari. Zambia has the reputation of being Africa's best kept secret, and travellers can enjoy the spectacular Victoria Falls whilst staying at Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma which is only a short drive away in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

Sanctuary Zebra Plains, our first walking safari camp situated in the South Luangwa will re-open for 2012 on June 1st. A walking safari is a fantastic way to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the bush, with world class guides in the beautiful setting of the South Luangwa National Park.
