Sanctuary guests sponsor local education

We are delighted to share the news that Mr and Mrs Matzel, who were guests at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, have decided to fund the education of a local Ugandan girl called Evidence Ainembabazi. Evidence recently came top of her class in primary school, out of 51 students. Having passed with flying colours, she is now moving into the next stage of education in Uganda known as 'Primary Four'.
Mr and Mrs Matzel have also kindly sponsored Evidence's elder sister Catherine who was accepted into the Kabale nursing school back in July 2011. Read more about Catherine's studies by clicking here. Thanks to the generous support of the Matzels, all of the team at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp are thrilled for Evidence and Catherine and wish them both all the best for their future studies.
