Depart Luxor

Transfer to your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise boat where you will be welcomed by the reception staff. Lunch will be served on board in the main restaurant. After lunch, your tour of the East Bank will begin with a visit to the Temple of Karnak. Next your Egyptologist will guide you on a tour of the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor. Return to your cruise boat for afternoon tea in the lounge. Tonight you will be greeted by your Boat Manager while you enjoy freshly prepared canapés with some complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer, followed by a gourmet dinner menu.

Valley of the kings

After breakfast buffet on board, visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Ancient Egypt's only femail Pharaoh). On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and afternoon tea will be served in the lounge while you cruise to Esna. A gourmet dinner will be served on board.

Temple of Horus at Edfu

This morning, your Egyptologist will guide you round the Greco-Roman Temple of Khnum at Esna. Enjoy lunch on board, while you cruise to Edfu. This afternoon, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu. An Egyptian cooking lesson will be presented on board before afternoon tea is served while you cruise to Kom Ombo. Tonight's dinner on board will be an "Egyptian Night" costume party for all guests, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian "galabeyyas". Dinner will be a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialities.

Begin today by visiting the Temple of Kom Ombo. While you cruise to Aswan lunch will be served. This afternoon, your Egyptologist guide will escort you to visit the Aswan High Dam.  Take a short motorboat ride to visit the Philae Temple and then the Granite Quarries. In the afternoon (weather permitting) take a ride on a felucca around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener's Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy afternoon tea with a trio of authentic Egyptian musicians. Tonight enjoy a formal gala farewell dinner.
