Overview

The ship is a modern paradise with 32 beautifully designed cabins. The two presidential suites, two deluxe cabins and 28 standard cabins have all been created with guests' comfort in mind. Spacious rooms and modern state of the art bathrooms are the hallmarks of each cabin. The public areas are fitted with luxurious furniture and oriental ornaments that beautifully reflect Egypt’s perfect mix of East and West. The sun deck, with its bamboo seats and teak floors, is the perfect place for sipping on a cocktail while floating past the beauty and serenity of Upper Egypt’s timeless landscapes. Cruise Itinerary

The Sanctuary M.S. Nile Adventurer's three and four night itineraries are designed to see the very best of Upper Egypt while cruising in uncompromising luxury. Touring Upper Egypt's most iconic sites through the comfort and security of the Sanctuary Nile Adventurer is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. Recently renovated, the ship is not only a means to travel to splendid destinations, but is now a destination in itself. Combined with award winning service and kitchen, a cruise on the Nile Adventurer enriches the body and mind like few other places in the world.  

Highlights en route include Karnak Temple, a massive temple complex built on an imperial scale, and a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, where the most powerful leaders of the era were buried – with their wealth. While much of the wealth has been plundered years ago, the tombs are indeed still treasures in their own right.

Only the most experienced Egyptologists are selected by the Sanctuary M.S. Nile Adventurer to make the Pharaohs' mysteries come alive. These onboard experts also offer lectures on the day’s discoveries as well as engaging in discussions about Egypt, past and present. The expertise of our guides is matched by a contagious enthusiasm, whether discussing tombs, Pharaonic deities and myths, or the flora and fauna of the Nile Valley.

Getting There & Away

Four night cruises depart from Luxor, while three night cruises depart from Aswan. In both Luxor and Aswan the docks are in front of the Military Officers Club. To reach the docks, we recommend flying from Cairo to either destination. The flying time from Cairo to Luxor is 1 hour, and from Cairo to Aswan it is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Driving to and from Luxor or Aswan is not usually recommended as it would require a police escort and the driving time is both long and tiring -  approximately 12 hours from Cairo to Luxor, and 15 hours from Cairo to Aswan.

Cabins & Suites

All cabins have Nile views and are fully air-conditioned with individual control. All have a private bathroom with bathtub, shower and hairdryer, mini bar and LCD television with satellite. International telephone access is available through the reception.

Presidential Suites (41m²)

The two Presidential Suites, with their own private balconies are luxuriously appointed with state of the art technology and opulent furnishings. The traditional tones, and along with cutting edge design create an eye catching contrast. The suites also feature exquisite amenities, mini bar, hair dryer, satellite television and LCD screens. 

Deluxe Cabins  (22m²)

 These cabins are larger than the standard, and feature many of the advantages of the suites. They also feature circular windows that provide fabulous views whilst sailing down the Nile. The deluxe cabins are fully air-conditioned with individual control, mini bar, hair dryer, satellite television and LCD screens.

Standard Cabins (17.5m²)

All cabins are fully air conditioned with individual control and have Nile view plus private bathroom with bathtub, shower and hairdryer, mini bar and LCD screens with satellite television.
