Day 01 - Arrive in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, with VIP Meet & Assist, including private transfer from the plane to the immigration gate (by golf cart) and handling of immigration procedures and where your Tour Coordinator will be waiting after customs.

Transfer to the five star deluxe Four Seasons Hotel at the First Residence in a Jaguar. After check in, you’ll find fresh fruits, cheese and wine waiting in your room.

Day 02 - Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza

The day begins with breakfast at the hotel and a morning visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Built by the Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, these ancient marvels were constructed in approximately 2500 BC with blocks of limestone from the plateau and from the Turah hills on the outskirts of Cairo. This will be followed by a private opening and exclusive access to the paws of the awe-inspiring Sphinx – the guardian of the necropolis.

The last stop of the morning is the Solar Boat Museum. Discovered in a pit by the Great Pyramid in 1954, its discovery was hailed as the single most important archaeological find in Egypt since the Tomb of Tutankhamen.

Lunch will be at the “Tuscany” Restaurant at the Cairo Marriott Hotel, serving authentic northern Italian cuisine in a romantic indoor setting.

Afternoon sightseeing will be a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. You will be escorted by your Egyptologist on a fascinating tour of 7,000 years of Egyptian history.

Then, spoil yourself, with a full body Swedish massage, both invigorating and relaxing.

Enjoy dinner at the Bella restaurant at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza.

Day 03 - A Day of Exquisite Shopping

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Today you will have the chance to explore the DIMA Jewelry gallery; a unique pairing of tradition and modern elegance.

A gourmet lunch at “La Maison Blanche” in the First Mall.

After lunch, relax or shop at leisure in The First Mall at Giza. The First Mall offers fine stores and designer brands, both local and international.

Early evening massages to be enjoyed using carefully selected techniques of Shiatsu, Thai, Swedish, Balinese, and Lomi-lomi, to ease away tension and leave you feeling deeply relaxed.

Day 04 - Arrival in Aswan, the "Jewel of the Nile"

Buffet breakfast and hotel check-out. Transfer by Mercedes car to Cairo Domestic Airport to board flight to Aswan.

Arrive at Aswan Airport where your Tour Coordinator who will assist and transfer you to the 5-star deluxe Sanctuary M.S. Nile Adventurer. On board, you will be welcomed by the reception staff, who will offer you chilled fruit juice while assisting with your check-in.

Lunch will be served on board.

Take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk and the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramid and temple construction.

Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge, whilst listening to a trio of authentic Egyptian musicians.

Take a break and indulge in a one-hour foot & back massage on board.

Early evening cocktail reception, where you will be greeted by your Boat Manager, who will introduce you to the boat staff, review on-board facilities and cruise program for the next few days.  Complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer will be served, together with a selection of canapés.

Dinner will be a set gourmet menu on board.

Day 05 - Discover Ancient Temples

Breakfast buffet on board, while you cruise to Kom Ombo.

Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek.  The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

Egyptian cooking lesson presented on board.

Lunch on board, while you cruise to Edfu.

In the afternoon explore the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic – albeit Greek-built – temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu.

Afternoon tea will be served whilst cruising to Esna.

Tonight’s dinner on board will be an “Egyptian Night” themed costume party, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian “galabeyas”.  Dinner will be a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties, followed by oriental music and dancing.

Day 06 - Discover the Valley of the Kings

Breakfast buffet on board, with a morning visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens. There will be a private opening to the Tomb Nefertari, long praised as the most beautifully decorated of all the tombs on the West Bank of Luxor.

Followed by the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s only female Pharaoh and the Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.

In the afternoon your Egyptologist will guide you on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, starting with the striking Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun and proceeded by the Temple of Karnak, which was built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs.  The great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral.

Afternoon tea will be served on board.

Tonight’s farewell dinner will be a gala dinner (dinner jacket required), with white-gloved waiters serving gourmet cuisine followed by a belly dancer, accompanied by a whirling dervish show.

Day 07 - Farewell

Breakfast buffet on board and check-out at 8:00 AM. Transfer to Luxor Airport in Mercedes car to board your domestic flight to Cairo, followed by your connecting international flight.
