New water tank for Nakatindi school, plus improvements to the garden...
This month work on the new water tank and stand at Nakatindi School has been completed. Builders removed the old tank and replaced it with a new steel water tank, which holds 10,000 litres more. The water is flowing well and there is now enough water pressure for the school ablutions to work. We're very pleased with the benefits of the project towards the school.
We have also used funds to replace the netting that shades the garden beds. The previous netting had unfortunately been damaged during the stormy rains we had this year. We have replaced them with steel poles to avoid future damage and to keep the crops growing!
Thank you to all our guests at Sussi & Chuma for helping make these works possible through their donations.
