Top 6 Luxury River Cruise Suites
Sanctuary Retreats is proud to announce that we have been awarded with the prestigious Cruise Critic UK Editors’ Picks Award for Best River Cruise Line Cabins. This award recognises our fleet of luxury river cruise ships as having “some of the most beautiful and sprawling cabins in the industry”. To celebrate, we have put together a list of our very best luxury suites.
Modelled on the opulent era of the 1920's and 30's, Sanctuary Sun Boat III offers guests the height of graceful luxury and nowhere is this more felt than within the elegant Royal Suites. At 36m2, these spacious yet cosy suites ooze tranquillity while their honey hues and dreamy four poster beds make them the perfect place to rest your head after a busy day with the pharaohs.
Boasting separate bedrooms and living rooms, the Celestial and Imperial Suites are extremely spacious at 110m2, offering guests ample space to relax. The traditional Chinese décor of the suites enhances the experience of sailing down the Yangzte River. Located on the Xiling Deck of the ship, both suites allow guests easy access to the ship's theatre, perfect for catching a late afternoon show!
The Nile Adventurer's two Presidential Suites are luxuriously appointed with state of the art technology and lavish furnishings. The traditional tones and cutting edge design create an eye catching contrast. The suites also feature exquisite amenities, mini bar, hair dryer, satellite television and LCD screens and their own private balconies, spread across 42.4m2.
The 55m2 Royal Suites of the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV are an oasis of luxury for the discerning traveller on their luxury Nile cruise. Offering a private balcony with striking Nile views, the calm yet vibrant tones of the furnishings provide guests with a relaxing ambience. The entertainment facilities, as well as the amenities, offer indulgence, comfort and luxury all rolled into one.
The largest suite on the river at 75m2, the Owner's Suite boasts a luxurious king-size bed, separate dressing and living areas, plus a large veranda complete with sun loungers, table and chairs. The roomy bathroom will spoil you with a freestanding tub as well as a monsoon shower and his-and-hers sinks. Other benefits include a private guide, butler service, early morning tea and coffee, complimentary laundry and exclusive dining experiences.
This fabulous suite is a calm oasis set in a breezy white colour scheme to reflect the tranquil natural surroundings of Upper Egypt. Featuring a private dining area and panoramic windows sprawling across 93m2, the Farouk Suite is the ultimate in lavish luxury. Influences from Egypt's Royal era can be seen in the furniture, décor and photographs. A poignant piece is an original hand-woven rug, a replica of a family letter sent by Egypt's King Farouk to his mother, which sits next to the deliciously comfortable bed.
